d'Art is a musician, student, and educator from Virginia with over a decade of clarinet experience. He has been a clarinetist and bass clarinetist in wind ensembles, symphony orchestras, numerous chamber ensembles, and also teaches clarinet privately. Aside from the clarinet, he is also a bagpiper with solo and ensemble playing experience. He has successfully auditioned for multiple state and national level ensembles, including being selected as principal bass clarinetist for the 2023 National Intercollegiate Band. As a clarinetist, he has also performed at conferences on the state, regional, and international levels. He is currently a private instructor of clarinet and a substitute musician for the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra.
Education
d'Art earned a Master of Music degree with distinction from Arizona State University in Spring of 2026. During his time there, d'Art and the Rio Salado Reeds performed for numerous university functions, including representing the school's woodwind studios for the university's National Association of Schools of Music reaccreditation. In 2024, he graduated summa cum laude from Radford University in Virginia with a bachelors degree in music education. He was also the recipient of Radford's "Highlander Spirit Award" and the Department of Music's "Outstanding Music Scholar Award".
